World Liberty Financial to Launch September 16th

Whether or not you’ve heard of it, World Liberty Financial is about to make waves in the crypto world. But what exactly is this project, and should you invest?

We’ve got everything you need to know, and more, in this blog article about World Liberty Financial which will be launching on September 16th.

Trump

What is World Liberty Financial?

World Liberty Financial is a fancy and official name for the cryptocurrency project currently being developed by the Trump family. After months of allegations and cryptocurrencies named after the former president (though they aren’t actually run by the former president), Trump is officially releasing a cryptocurrency.

World Liberty Financial is a blockchain project that aims to provide a DeFi alternative to traditional financial systems. The project was recently developed, and the official white paper has been released. Supposedly, the platform will offer DeFi financial solutions, such as borrowing and lending, built on the Aave blockchain.

While the platform will likely develop a utility token for use on the platform, the current plans for a cryptocurrency include introducing a stablecoin, which is pegged to the US dollar, though it is unclear exactly how that peg will be maintained.

Who is Behind World Liberty Financial?

Though Trump’s name is all over the platform, the real creators behind the project are Trump’s sons, Eric and Donald Jr. The two of them are simply using their father’s fame to attempt to make the project famous.

The project, though executed and promoted by the Trump family, was created in partnership with Aave. Aave is an Ethereum-based blockchain platform.

When Will World Liberty Financial Launch?

Currently, the World Liberty Financial Platform is scheduled for launch on September 16th, 2024. That being said, it is unclear if the project will simply start development on this day or if there is already something in motion and potential investors will be able to purchase the utility token on this day—we have yet to find out.

Either way, you won’t need to wait too long for an answer!

Should You Invest in World Liberty Financial?

In our opinion, no.

This is for several reasons, the first and foremost being that this is a new, untrialed product. Projects like this have a high likelihood of crashing just months after release, especially if Trump doesn’t win the election come November.

Additionally, while the idea behind World Liberty Financial might be sound, there are so many other platforms already in the space that offer these services. The only reason you are likely interested in this one is the Trump name.

This brings us to another problem. Trump is old, and though we assume the project will continue with his sons when he dies, there is much uncertainty about the future of this blockchain due to its ties with Trump.

If that weren’t enough, Nic Carter, who works with Castle Island Ventures, has called the project a huge mistake—even though he is a known Trump supporter. He has brought up a lot of security issues with the blockchain, and he believes the project is a cash grab looking to capitalize on Trump’s popularity. He advises individuals to invest in almost any other project, but to steer clear of this one, especially because of the scams currently associated with the coin, more on this below.

What Should You Invest in Instead?

An investment in cryptocurrency is a highly personal decision, and of course, if you love the idea behind World Liberty Financial, then pull out your wallet. But we have some serious doubts about this project and instead recommend investing in a project with a better track record and more potential for success not based on the US Presidential election.

For example, an investment in Aave, the blockchain platform partnering with World Liberty Financial, could be an idea. We also think that an investment in Bitcoin or Ethereum would also benefit someone who wants to get involved with crypto as a beginner.

Scams Associated with World Liberty Financial

We want to start by saying that World Liberty Financial is a real project, BUT scammers have already begun to take advantage of the name, by hacking X/Twitter accounts associated with the Trump family, and posting fake links. Additionally, many criminals have already bought fake ads with the name World Liberty Financial and are currently scamming hundreds of individuals.

Basically, hackers and scammers saw a chance and went for it. So even if you are interested in investing in World Liberty Financial, we recommend not doing it right now—at least until Aave and the Trump family can clear some of the scams from the space.

If you want to buy upon launch, ensure you go directly to the website which you type into your browser. Do not click on any links, and do not click on any ads. Keep in mind that World Liberty Financial is the only cryptocurrency project backed by Trump and any other project bearing his name is not backed by the former President and likely a scam.

Where Can You Buy World Liberty Financial?

As of the writing of this article, it is not possible to purchase World Liberty Financial as the blockchain hasn’t yet launched. But once it does, we assume it will hit major and reputable exchanges. We cannot urge caution enough, however, as while researching this article we found many fake exchanges and websites already claiming to sell the token.

We cannot caution you enough in your dealings with World Liberty Financial as there are so many scams surrounding the platform and the name right now. Do not buy the token from any unofficial exchange or one you have not used before. Do not believe anyone who will buy them for you, as all of these are likely just scammers waiting to take advantage of unsuspecting crypto and Trump fans.

Overall, World Liberty Financial is slated to launch tomorrow, and we aren’t 100% sure what that means. No matter what, we urge interested parties to proceed with caution as the World Liberty Financial name has become synonymous with scams in the last few weeks.
