Recent messages have a higher impact than older messages prior to a MintRain event. However, do not spam, bot, do promotional abuse or other bad behavior as this can get you temporarily or permanently banned.
• Deposit! The more you have deposited onto MintDice and the more recently you have deposited on MintDice, the more likely you are to be selected for MintRain. Simply depositing, even one time, will give you a huge boost over those who have not.
• Play! The more you have played on MintDice in total and have played since the last rain storm, the more likely you are to get soaked.

MintRain & Faucet Rules/Restrictions:

MintRain is meant to be a fun program for everyone's benefit. Unfortunately, some users either knowingly or unknowingly abuse the generosity provided by MintDice. This can lead to getting your account restricted or outright banned and losing all of your promotionally acquired funds (MintDice will never take any active deposits from it's users, only illicitly gained promotional funds). In order to have a good experience on MintDice, use common sense. But here are a few guidelines to staying safe:

• Multi-Accounting: It is perfectly legal to have multiple accounts on MintDice if they are used for normal gambling or non-abusive purposes. If however, for example, you are creating multiple accounts for faucet abuse or to chat more often to receive more MintRain™ payouts, this is clearly against the MintDice TOS.
• Spammy / Bot-like Behavior: Low content posting, bot-posting, promotional posting or any general chit-chat that does not provide value to MintDice and it's community of chatters is not welcome. This can get your account banned. Make sure you are writing high quality comments and unique things in chat and you'll be fine.
• Non-Performance "Farming": The major purpose of MintRain™, the Bitcoin faucet and any other promotional program on MintDice is so that you may use MintDice's features and be rewarded for doing so. If you are simply chatting on MintDice with no intention to play it's games or use it's features, this is also considered abuse. Make sure you play with the money and enjoy MintDice's Bitcoin games in addition to the chat!
• Any Other Reason: The amount of abusive tactics that users may come up with will go beyond the scope of this FAQ or our present knowledge. If we deem anything as unfair, your account may become restricted or even banned. Play by the rules, deposit cryptocurrency, enjoy the extra rewards, have fun on MintDice and you'll never have any issue. If you start doing anything malicious, you may face consequences that we really don't want to have to give out. So be warned. Deciding what is and isn't promotional abuse is entirely at the discretion of MintDice staff.
• If you have any question about our programs, before you engage, during engagement or even after a restriction/ban, feel free to write MintDice, support@mintdice.com with your questions. We'd also rather help you before problems have occurred since ban reversals will be extremely uncommon so get your questions in early.
